In the end, as in the beginning, they are filled with mistrust of each other and everyone around them, mistrust that is clearly justified in the murky noir world that Soderbergh and Solomon have. There are also things that are just sort of implied (like a possible relationship between two neighbors) and don’t go anywhere that feel like red herrings just to add a bit of depth to the story but ultimately feel a bit pointless once the credits roll. What lenses were used on No Sudden Move I just saw the premiere at the TriBeCa festival and the lenses were very interesting, they had some weird distortion on the sides when panning, but it didn’t look like barrel distortion. The filmmakers aren’t holding hands here. Unfortunately, it feels a bit messy and although I had no problems understanding what was going on, many people online have. It’s got plenty of twists and turns and the film doesn’t really show it’s hand until the very end. The advent of smaller digital cameras means that Soderbergh.
